OUR DINING EXPERIENCE IS ONLY LIMITED BY OUR IMAGINATION!
Indulge us for a minute as we take you through our interpretation of a Nomadic Gourmet Safari and drawing upon the wisdom of Wikipedia, we created our own definition;
A journey presenting a range of culinary delights, moving from one place to another rather than settling permanently in one location. Ever considered an alternative culinary experience? Perhaps now is the time. You find your blank spot on the South African map, and then select your menu and theme, or design your own. The only thing left to do is to tell us how many guests you will be having around, and leave the rest to us. Amongst our most frequently requested locations is in the heart of the Cradle of Humankind, a mere 20 minute drive from Fourways (Sandton). The Pilanesberg Game Reserve, ideally suited to guests staying at Sun City, if not already with us in our luxury mobile tented camp. And finally, amongst the vines in the heart of the cape winelands.
We have had the pleasure of creating memorable gala events for groups ranging from 50 to 800 guests in grand style, and given the nomadic nature of our gourmet safaris, providing tariffs will always be subject to your specific brief. Having said this our rates would typically vary from R600 to R1500 per person per event.
Perhaps the most significant advantage of a nomadic gourmet event, is its mobility, and this allows us the flexibility of establishing your gala event almost anywhere. Our events have taken us from the hills of the Cradle of Humankind, minutes away from Sandton, to the banks of the Sabie River, the wilderness of the Pilanesberg Game Reserve, and amongst the vines in the wine-lands, to name just a few.
Alternatively you may have your own exclusive venue, and we would be delighted at the opportunity to explore this option.
Different tent styles and sizes, coupled with several décor enhancement themes, and lastly a variety of locations all contribute to making each gala event unique. Your event could be a casual barbecue or could be a sophisticated ‘silver and crystal’ occasion. Furthermore a multitude of entertainment options are also available and could vary from an authentic African experience with the aid of a marimba band and dance troupe to a string quartet.
